We regret to announce that Dr Lando will be leaving our clinic and returning to Australia in early 2026. A serious family health emergency has precipitated this return home in order to support his family.

Fortunately, we do have Dr Brent Burket joining us in January, and Dr Jennifer Thoene in March. Therefore, all of Dr Lando’s patients will remain patients of Kootenay Lake Medical Clinic. We hope to make the transition from Dr Lando to either of our two new physicians, as seamless as possible for all.

Both Drs Burket and Thoene, come with years of experience as Family Physicians, and have made the decision to move to Nelson permanently from Oregon. We are very excited to have them join our KLMC Team.
