We look after the whole issue of providers for employee health management. KMIC is your resource for all workplace health programs:

Pre Hire and Periodic Screenings

  • Physician Medical --- pre-employment full physicals involving history and exam to delineate past history of injuries (most important for Relief of Costs with WCB claims) and assess fitness for work. Various additional tests may be ordered as needed. Full and detailed Back X-Rays can be arranged and drug-testing screen if required.
  • Functional Assessment --- Full functional assessments are offered if needed with or without PDA (Physical Demands Analysis).
  • Vision Test ---part of every drivers pre-employment, colour vision and peripheral vision testing included
  • Hearing Test ---arranged as required
  • Lung Function Test --- basic expiratory volumes tested.

    Treatment -- we can arrange more rapid treatment when necessary, and can also monitor efficacy for you.
  • Physical Therapy --we can assist in reviewing and assessing all treatment modalities for relevance and efficacy.
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Orthotics and Prosthetics --we have referral sources available
  • Pain Management --if referral for a Pain Management Clinic is necessary for a valued worker, we can arrange.
  • Massage Therapy
  • Chiropractic
  • Fitness Evaluations and Exercise Prescription--we are able to perform fitness evaluation and recommend fitness programs for clients.
  • Hand Therapy --local therapy referrals as needed. Assessments can be arranged.
  • Head Injury-- we are able to offer full assessments of status quo of any head injury and arrange for any treatment necessary.
  • Work Conditioning --we evaluate local Work Conditioning OR 1 and OR 2 programs for you. We can arrange referral.

    Disability Management
  • Ability Management --functional testing can be arranged.
  • Absence Management --we have a network of health care providers to expedite treatment, facilitate diagnosis, and promote recovery and return to work.
  • WCB Claim Adjudication Advice
  • Complex Claim Management --if you need assistance with insurers be it WCB or ICBC or other insurers we can assist with any complex claims.

  • Risk Screenings ---If your employee needs full assessments these can be arranged.
  • Disease Management ---If your employee needs full assessments these can be arranged.
  • Executive Medicals ---If your employee needs full assessments these can be arranged. These would involved full physical, detailed blood screening to assess completely the current state of health and all health risks, time estimate 1 hour plus return visit.
